Michelle A Stallions, DVM
Dr. Stallions was born in Oak Ridge, TN. Later she and her family moved to Alabama, where she attended John C. Calhoun State Community College where she received an Associates in Science Degree in 1986. Then she attended Auburn University and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991.
Dr. Stallions is the owner of Green Cove Animal Hospital and has been practicing veterinary medicine at this facility since 1992. Her special interests are dentistry, geriatric medicine, and alternative, complimentary medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Stallions enjoys spending time with her children, creating mosaics, mixed media pieces and other artsy endeavors. She has two little dogs, three cats and many turtles and tortoises who were rescued from various injuries and circumstances. Dr. Stallions is very passionate about veterinary medicine, her Alma Mater-Auburn University, and her country USA. Carpe diem- seize the day.
Cynthia A Bayless , DVM
Also a graduate of Auburn University, she first attended the University of Kentucky and received a BA Degree in Chemistry and then received a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She was born and raised in Middlesboro, a small town in southeastern Kentucky and of course she was brought up playing basketball in the backyard.
She first came to Green Cove Springs in 1999 to complete her preceptorship (intern) at GCAH. Then she went to work in a small town outside of Athens, GA, where she not only practiced on small animals but also large animals. After a year, she decided to return to Green Cove Animal Hospital. She has been here since 2000. Her special interests are internal medicine and surgery, and emergency medicine. She spends her free time with her family. Dr. Bayless also works at Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Center.
Ashley has been a fundamental part of the Green Cove Animal staff since August 2005. She is the head technician and is going for her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology at Penn Foster. Ashley appreciates nature and enjoys outdoor activities. She also loves animals of course, and owns three cats, one dog, and various snakes. Ashley loves spending time with furry animals, but has a special interest in reptiles!
Tara has been a part of the Green Cove Animal staff since August 1998. She started here as a receptionist, but now she is also a trained technician. She also works part-time with Affiliated Veterinary Emergency Center when extra help is needed. Tara is the mother of three children, and is also proud owner of three dogs and three cats. Tara graduated from Clay High School and is a native to Green Cove Springs.
Tiffany has been with Green Cove Animal Hospital since February 2013. She works as an assistant Kennel Assistant and Technician. She is also a junior at Clay High and hopes to continue her education at the University of Florida. There she plans on studying Veterinary Medicine of Equine and Swine. Tiffany has two cats, a puppy, a horse, and seasonal show pigs which are shown at the Clay County Fair for her FFA organization.
Abbie joined our staff in September 2010 as a receptionist. Abbie's effervescent personality is a favorite with the animals and their humans! Originally from Pennsylvania, she has been in Clay County for over 20 years. She has 2 children, one granddaughter and many pets ( 2 dogs, 5 cats, and 5 goats and chickens).
Cindy previously worked with us at Green Cove Animal Hospital as a Receptionist for 8 years. She moved to Illinois for 3 years and has now rejoined our team cross-trained as a Technician. Cindy is proficient in the front office as well as in the examination room. Cindy loves walking, hiking and being outdoors in nature. Proud owner of one cat and one dog, Cindy's care and compassion for our fuzzy friends shows in the love of her job.
